You learn to observe dangers and pull out before you get to the point where you're going to die mid-healsig. Though that's pretty difficult for most of the brainless wammo-types out there

Lets hope they don't snare you. Lets hope it's not 2v1. Lets hope they don't degen you to death.

then you'll die even with LC ..
LC is pretty good imo. 11/12/6 spec can make it a good self-heal while it doesn't cut your adrenaline.

Not if you can heal yourself, kill off who your fighting, and move on. Why do people act like this isn't a healing skill. If used properly you can refill you HP bar a few times. You can't kill anything if your dead.

Of course, however if you were already dying the 100 heal won't save you.
It is a good skill to top off your own bar to relieve some pressure from the monk, but it won't let you be able to win 1 versus 2 as you stated above.

What's a 100 point heal going to do for you when you're degenning out with 2 guys on you? You make it sound so easy to kill someone off when you were just a moment away from dying a second ago.
Or maybe it's because we're stubborn people who like cookie cutters because we dislike running shitty builds ^__________^

It's not 100 heal every fight, it's 100 heal every time it reloads. It's plenty effective and def. possible to take on two players an win, according to what class they are and what your build is, ofc.
If healing doesn't help win battles why have monks at all?

You don't have to pop it right before death....you can stay at high health the whole time. And staying alive just a bit longer makes all the difference in RA/AB in which the rest of you team will be their shortly, if you don't kill them off or die first.
Also, "retard" is an insult for the childish and nieve. Are they actually mentally disabled? No. Your trying to look cool, ineffectively.
"Shitty" is relative and your opinion. You like cookie cutters because they are easy and dont require you to:
1.) Think
2.) Take a risk
3.) Be creative

It's only possible to take on 2 players and win with LC if you're in RA or AB. Any serious PvP, never.

Read again. He said it doesn't help when you're in a disadvantaged position - 2 vs 1 in this case. Unless they're really bad. And seeing as you're talking about RA, I guess they must be.

What does nieve mean? Serious question.
EDIT: Thanks Trvth!

I haven't found a way to fit LC on my skill bar yet, maybe if I go back to axe or hammer I might give it a try.

Googled:
People who spell this French-derived word “nieve” make themselves look naive. In French there is also a masculine form: “naif”; and both words can be nouns meaning “naive person” as well as adjectives. “Nieve” is actually the Spanish word for “snow.”
How do you do <blockquote> ? Can't get it to work.

I love how you forget what you typed just a few moments ago.
And the difference between having this and having a monk heal you is that you continue to do damage when you're being healed by the monk. You sacrifice time and adrenaline to use this while you're still getting beat on by the other team.

Retarded: Occurring or developing later than desired or expected; delayed.
Some people just take much longer to understand the concept of the game than others.
Why do I notice the recurring pattern that whenever you post here, everyone who knows what they're talking about disagrees with you, and yet you continue the drama.

Yes, that's what I was referring to... In GVG ( I guess the only thing considered serious) it is much much harder to 2v1 as a Warrior, I agree. Not impossible, though. Other classes may find it easier to 2v1, but still a hard feat.

Yes, once again, that's what I stated I was referring to.

Yes, I misspelled the word. I'm at work and was rushing to post. Sryz.

That's basically right. The ones that made the build that is now cookie cutter, required thinking and creative thought. Ones that copy and paste their build....not so much.

so out of context Holy, and you know it. Flem simply said with no heal, what do you do if you have no monk and are about to die, stop acting childish.
LC is by no means good, just... ok... and while i dont use it, i would easily see how someone could possibly find it useful in pve, or low tier pvp, such as RA/AB, as at least some form of self healing, in case they have no monks/rits.
it has a little utility, giving it less of a drawback as some other healing skills would have, allowing you to at least gain something useful out of it, while you arent actually dealing the damage you need to be dealing.
again, not great, but enough to pass as a usable skill. end convo.

unless you made the cookie cutter build that everyone now uses, sorry to burst your bubble, the answer is no.
as long as you understand the basic elements of competitive gameplay in gws, you can easily run any cut/paste build as good as the next group of brainless saps.

No I didn't. I just keeping getting quoted out of context. I also ask question in a particular way. Just because I ask a question doesn't mean I feel any certain way.

Again the difference between what you are talking about and what I am talking about was already established about 15 posts ago when I said that I was referring to the situation where there was no monk close, or at all.

I see your definition and raise you another.
Retarded: relatively slow in mental or emotional or physical development.
Don't even try to disgrace people with actual mental disorders for the sake of you trying to insult people on a video game that don't agree with you. Really really mature. Def. Mod material.
Why do I notice that only a handful of GW is represented here on Guru and that the large majority of the community here are good friends that always stick up for each other no matter the topic and always appear as elistist opinion nazis?

EXACTLY!! That's what I have been trying to say all along. Nice wordage.

Then why don't you just make that your signature so you wont feel the need to ague about it in every single thread you post. We get it, you don't think cookie cutter builds are the ONLY way to play. What everyone else doesn't understand, is why would you even WANT to run a below average build, it just doesn't make sense. All of the arguing for argument's sake has got to end. You and about two other people have derailed 80% of Campfire threads. What's the deal with that?

Then actually contribute something instead of railing against common builds. These threads aren't as funny as they used to be, they're just depressing now.

That is simply false. You can't compete on top level GvG, not even if you copy/pasted their builds.
GvG actually requires skill and thinking, no matter how much of a cookie cutter build you run.
@Flem: I think I just totally misunderstood your post tbh. And I actually though nieve was a word I never hear of

This is what we are trying to get him to understand, not get everyone else to understand as most of the rest of the players already know this.
